Proven technical experience with PHP frameworks, Web CMS platforms.
1-2 years’ experience with Magento 2 (additional experience with 1.9 is advantageous) including configuration, administration and development.
Ability to interpret business needs into technical web design and functionality
Within this role there will be a lot of travel this will be UK and Europe based with 50% of your time been in Europe.
As the Magento back end developer you will be responsible for
Design, develop, maintain and support the e-commerce websites within the required timelines ensuring business priorities are met. Provide the business with best practice advice and proposals regarding conversion rate optimisation, technical SEO extensions, API and ecommerce web development.
Lead the administration, development and implementing of web development for the e-commerce websites
Managing, developing and implementing Web and e-Commerce design requests
Test and implement user requests and system developments on time
Support the ongoing conversion rate optimisation of the website
Lead development projects with 3rd parties
·Ensuring web developments are completed on time and to the required standard
·Stakeholders informed regarding work status
·Driving on-going optimisation of e-commerce site
·Participation in planning meetings, maintenance and continuous improvement reviews
The developer will also have
·Strong interpersonal Skills including the ability to build and maintain strong client and business-partner relationships.
·Ability to transfer knowledge and teach colleagues in understanding new technologies and processes.
·Ideally have experience with Google toolset including Tag Manager and analytics.
·Experience with C++ and C# would be beneficial.
·Ability to link business strategies to IT capabilities.
·Team Player - comfortable in working in a project oriented team environment with experience of collaboration tools and project management tools such as Jira.
