We are open to looking at candidates who are from other industries but have the right qualifications to be an electrical bias maintenance engineer or mechanical bias engineer in a manufacturing environment. The successful Multi skilled engineer electrical bias will be from electrical background with mechanical skills. Ideally the right candidate should be from a heavy industry, such as mining or aggregates although they will consider other similar industries.
As the Multi skilled engineer electrical bias or mechanical bias engineer you will be working within the team responsible for the maintenance on new and existing equipment such as heavy process equipment and will be expected to fault find on multiple electrical and process machinery. This is a high volume, breakdown environment which will be moving to a PPM system. Exposure to this would be advantageous. Welding and machining skills are essential within this role, as is the ability to read mechanical and CAD drawings to assist in the fitting of parts and equipment.
