The successful Maintenance Engineer will be a multi-skilled Engineer with an electrical bias.
Ideally the right candidate should be from a food background, this is a food preparation site.
You will be a highly motivated individual as there will be many opportunities for further development/up-skilling within.
Maintenance Engineer Role
As the Maintenance Engineer you will be working within a team responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance on new and existing equipment. You will be working on equipment such as moulders, cutters, slicers. Multi head weighing machines, conveyors .
Carrying out planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance (respond to breakdowns) both electrical and mechanical across the FMCG site whilst ensuring all the company procedures and standards are followed, exposure to PLCs is desirable
The company are driving towards a world class manufacturing environment and so would consider candidates who have had exposure and understand route cause analysis.
As the successful Maintenance Engineer, you will have a high standard of electrical knowledge, this will be gained from industries such as FMCG, Packaging, Food or Drink manufacturing.
