Shift Pattern

·         6am to 2pm (Mon-Fri), 2pm (Mon-Fri) and 10pm-6am (Sun-Thurs) Flexibility is essential

Profile

The successful Multi Skilled Technician will have a recognised qualification in electrical engineering and a sound mechanical appreciation. You will be a highly motivated individual and be able to react quickly to breakdowns as well as working within a PPM and continuous improvement environment.

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will be working with a team responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance on existing equipment. This is a fast paced environment, therefore you will need to think on your feet to resolve any issues.

The main aspects of this role would be:

• Hydraulic & pneumatic engineering
• Be able to read electrical drawings
• Manage shift breakdowns that occur
• Troubleshoot and correct machinery problems
• Provide routine service maintenance across the site
• Control plant start up and shutdown
• Maintaining accurate and timely records PPM and reactive maintenance work
• Maintain and improve safety procedures
• Maintain clean, safe work environment
• Communicate with the Engineering Supervisor regarding company policies, system breakdowns and

safety

·         Maintain plant and ensure smooth running

What we would like our candidate to have…

The essentials:

• Time served engineer/technician with suitable experience for position
• Professional Electrical and Mechanical qualifications/experience
• PC literate (M.S Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Decision making ability and to use own initiative
• Knowledge of machinery hydraulics, pneumatics
• Physically fit – occasional strenuous work will be required
