JOB: Technical Support
Salary: £32K Commutable from: Brentwood, Romford, Grays, Ilford Baseldon. Purpose To assist the Group Technical Team in the day-to-day administration, planning and execution of maintenance engineering throughout the group, relating to both worldwide bagging operations and terminals. You will be/have: • Organized with a strong practical / technical background. • Strong and concise communication skills, both written and verbal • Good grammatical and numerical skills • Strong analytical approach to cost management • Fully competent with IT including Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / Power point / Outlook). Experience of CRM systems preferred but not essential. • Good attention to details • A self-motivated problem solver • Effective personal time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
The Role The successful candidate will be part of the technical team and will be primarily involved in the support and coordination of the maintenance activities of the company’s fleet of mobile bulk handling equipment. This will include the following activities: • Maintaining the equipment fleet records. • Stock administration – and maintain SAGE data accordingly • Administer Local Purchase Orders (LPO’s) • Monitoring the project job cards – updating to CRM, • CRM Case – Creating new cases, validating parts requirement, closing completed cases, adding information gathered from job/equipment. • Monitoring the standard of the maintenance activities carried out. • Issue parts used on SAGE, completing internal transfers where required. • Assisting with part number/parts queries. • Administer Cash Sheets from the field, liaising with accounts as required. • CRM Administration, information equipment such as machine hours and cosmetic condition. • Liaising with other departments to ensure correct costings • Utilization and support development of CRM and Sage systems to meet business requirements • Coordinating the inspection of the equipment on an annual basis by Field personnel. • Coordinating modifications to the equipment from field feedback.
