The studio is seeking a dynamic individual with a robust understanding of coding languages and technical procedures. The role demands not only the ability to craft clean, efficient code but also the capacity to articulate and educate fellow team members on the technical nuances of VR experiences. This position offers the chance to be at the forefront of technical development, testing, and installation across various platforms, including Windows 10, iOS, and occasionally Linux systems.
As a pivotal member of the team, the Unity Developer will manage projects, and ensure the seamless delivery of digital engagement solutions. This includes maintaining regular communication with clients and stakeholders, troubleshooting day-to-day studio issues, and providing creative and innovative input.
Key responsibilities include:
– Writing and maintaining pristine, well-commented code, both independently and collaboratively.
– Identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently.
– Conducting thorough testing and installation of projects on the designated devices.
– Delivering creative and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
– Ensuring the developed project aligns with the original specifications through meticulous testing and evaluation.
– Occasionally visiting sites to install, configure, and commission projects, ensuring a smooth handover.
Skills and Experience Required:
– Proficiency in C# development for Unity.
– An excellent grasp of Unity’s capabilities.
Highly advantageous:
– Experience with JavaScript/JQuery.
– Skills in 3D modelling with tools such as Blender.
– Familiarity with ARCore and/or ARKit.
– Experience with native HTML5 development.
